Sponsorship in Councils and public sector
Most UK local authorities hold a sponsor licence, chiefly for social work, housing and planning roles, but many advertise a wider range of posts. A council licence covers the authority as an employer; whether a particular post is open to sponsorship is decided vacancy by vacancy.
