Data we collect

Information you provide voluntarily: When you submit a form on our site we collect the information you provide — typically your email address and any other details you choose to share.

Job listings:To see the link to apply for a job, we ask for your email address. We use it to show you that link, to email you a copy of the job together with the employer's sponsor licence status and how the advertised salary compares with Skilled Worker salary thresholds, and — only if you tick the box — to tell you once when our immigration adviser referral service launches. We record which job you asked about so the email we send you is the right one. We do not pass your address to the employer, and nobody will contact you about your application.

Eligibility checker: The optional questions after your result (route, nationality, whether you are in the UK, and timescale) are stored without any contact details and cannot be linked back to you.

Technical data collected automatically: Our hosting providers and infrastructure log standard request data including IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security, rate-limiting, and aggregate analytics.

Aggregate analytics: We use Google Analytics 4, and may use Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics alongside it, to understand how the site is used. Analytics only load after you accept them in the cookie banner. See the Cookies section below.

We do not use advertising cookies or share data with advertising networks.

Why we use your data (legal basis under UK GDPR)

Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We may share it with:

• Service providers that help us operate the site (e.g. Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database, Cloudflare for security and analytics, Resend for transactional email if applicable). These providers process data on our behalf under written agreements.
• Partner organizations where you have explicitly requested or consented to a referral (e.g. solicitors, advisers). The specific partners and the data shared will be disclosed at the point of consent.
• Legal authorities where required by law.

We do not transfer data outside the UK or EEA unless we have appropriate safeguards in place under UK GDPR (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions). Some of our service providers (notably Vercel and Supabase) may store data in the United States under such safeguards.

How long we keep your data

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described:

• Form submissions, including job-link requests: up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner
• Aggregate analytics: indefinite, but no individuals can be identified
• Server logs: typically 30–90 days

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Eraseyour data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict how we process your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaintwith the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for essential functionality (e.g. CSRF protection on form submissions). These do not require consent under PECR.

We also use Google Analytics 4 — and may use Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics alongside it — to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are onlyset after you accept them in the cookie banner — nothing analytics-related loads beforehand, and we do not use advertising cookies or share this data with advertisers. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months. To withdraw consent, clear this site's data in your browser and decline the banner when it reappears.

If we add additional cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent before they are placed.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or notified via email where appropriate.
